My name is Erica and I am an Alabama native, but I currently work and reside in the Nashville, TN area. I have covered just about every kind of session, but I specialize in weddings, couples, births, and seniors,

A lot of people ask me where I got the name "Lavender and Lynne" from, and I am happy to share!

 

Lavender is not only my favorite flower, but it is also a flower that is supposed to have the ability to bring calmness and serenity. Furthermore, it also represents internal healing and wellness. 

​

Lynne is my middle name, meaning brook or source of water. Also, being my middle name, it is an inner part of my identity.

​

Putting Lavender and Lynne together, for me, brings a sense of establishing peace within myself and within my creative outlet--photography. Once I had the concept that I wanted inner peace and wellness for myself, my art and business naturally followed suit, What's more is that I realized that I also wanted these things for my clients as well. As a photographer, it is my goal and hope to bring a calm, encouraging, and even a healing experience to all my sessions. It's been said that I bring a great energy-and the appropriate energy--to every session I shoot.

My heart and goal for Lavender and Lynne Portraiture is to not only run my business and run it well, but to also offer an experience that will be pleasant and images that capture your inner essence.
